When I finished college, I realized I had a really big problem. There were no longer classrooms full of people to listen to my Very Important Opinions. Okay, there is currently one classroom full of people, but they’re all under the age of 10, so that doesn’t count. I decided to start this blog to fill that egotistical void. And really, who doesn’t want to read about a queer, blended, secular home schooling family taught by a wacky, trans dad with ADHD? Right?
Every day in school, we have writing time. All the kids have to write something in their notebooks, usually a free write, for 15 minutes. If I don’t have anything pressing to do, I write in my notebook, too. Eventually, if it’s anything good and I find the time, it gets typed up and put here.
But sometimes, instead, I eat.
